Steady growth in condo market
When the condominium market first starting picking up speed in the 1980s, it mostly appealed to empty nesters or snow birds.
“These clients were looking for a little luxury, downsizing from a typical single family home and wanting less home maintenance in their lives,” explains Norma Cameron, a REALTOR with the Sutton Group in Halifax. Now 30 years later, the condo market has grown to fit several first time and long-time buyers.
